State Parks Around the Lakes

It's no wonder with two massive bodies of water one can find several state parks in the Kentucky Lakes Area!

Kentucky Dam Village State Park

Located next to Kentucky Dam in the northern Kentucky Lake area, Kentucky Dam Village State Park is a beautiful place complete with a lodge of 72 rooms. Inside you'll find the Harbor Lights Restaurant, a year-round dining experience that is a great place to view the lake.

Kentucky Dam Village also offers an 18-hole golf course, a large marina with slips and launching ramp, hiking trails, a stable, tennis courts and more. There's also a large sandy beach area open to the public and a nice pool for overnight guests. Camping is also available below the dam along the Tennessee River.

One feature that makes Kentucky Dam Village State Park stand out from the rest is it's 4,000-foot paved runway for aircraft. So whether you're flying in or taking the traditional route of driving, Kentucky Dam Village State Park has a ton of things to offer. Visit Kentucky Dam Village State Park's website for more information or call them at 270-362-4271
